I am writing to you to request clarification on certain admissions statistics to your A100 and A104 Medicine courses.
Could you please provide me with the following statistics for all five application cycles 2020-2025:
Question 1. The lowest UCAT score of a home, non-contextual/WP candidate that achieved an interview invite that year

Our response:
On this occasion it is not possible to provide any of the requested information. In line with your rights under section 1(1)(a) of the Act to be informed whether information is held, we confirm that the University does not hold any recorded information for the lowest UCAT score of a home contextual/widening participation candidate offered an interview for the requested period. The University do not record candidates as contextual/widening participation; therefore we do not hold this information.

Question 5. Do you assess personal statements as part of the admissions process?
Our response:
No, but interviewers may use the personal statement as part of the interview process.
Question 6. Do you assess SJT banding in any degree during the application process, and, if so, are there certain bands that are automatically rejected?
Our response:
The SJT is used in the interview process. There is no automatic rejections based on SJT Banding.
Question 7. Do you have a “weighting” system when assessing GCSE grades, UCAT score and predicted A levels?
