We have now considered your request of 20 August 2025 for the following information:

Question 1. Are the Fire Dampers currently on contract for the inspection and maintenance?

Our response:

Yes.

Question 2. If yes, please confirm the following:

- Due date for contract end

- Actual contract spend

Our response:

The due date for contract end is 14th February 2027.

On this occasion it is not possible to provide all of the requested information. In line with your rights under section 1(1)(a) of the Act to be informed whether information is held, we confirm that the University does not hold any recorded information for the actual contract spend. The University cannot define the spend for the fire damper aspect alone, as it is included in the full Facilities Management contract expenditure and is not recorded separately.

Question 3. What route to market used to obtain these services (a) open tender (b) framework - if yes, which one?

Our response:

Full tender process as part of the full facilities management contract.

Question 4. Are the fire dampers currently maintained by an external contractor? If yes, please provide which contractor?

Our response:

Yes, as part of the full facilities management contract with OCS.

Question 5. Finally, please advise names and contact details of any individuals (outside of procurement) responsible for this contract including your
