FOI_25-131 Grade distributions

Date of response: 10 June 2025

We have now considered your request of 14 May 2025 for the following information:

…we need to receive a grade distribution, that is, the total % of students that achieve each of the marks in the grading scale, identifying the minimum passing mark.

Information can be sent in a table. As an example we will provide a possible format, that your University will need to adapt to the range of marks used in their scale:

Mark _____% of students

0 0%

1 1%

2 4%

... ...

10* 15%

11 25%

12 9%

... ...

... ...

17 8%

... ...

20 2%

*Minimum passing mark"

Clarification received 30 April 2025:

….Bachelor of Arts in History and History of Art in 2022.

Further clarification received 14 May 2025:

Regarding the first question, the distribution of marks in blocks of 10% is perfectly acceptable as far as I know.

With regards to the second question, if the distribution is different depending on the year then I would like to have the split, though I would prefer to have both the split and the final marks just in case. If the distribution is the same, I think either one will suffice.
