We have now considered your request of 01 February 2025 for the following information

Question 1. The total amount of menopause teaching provided throughout the medicine course (e.g., in hours).

Our response:

One hour seminar.

In addition, students receive teaching during their placements. Some students are allocated to a dedicated menopause clinic in secondary care, but not all have this opportunity due to the limited number of clinics available within the four-week secondary care placement. Menopause and Hormone Replacement Therapy discussions also take place in general gynaecology clinics and primary care settings, although it is difficult to quantify.
