The efforts of the University of East Anglia (UEA) community have been recognised in a national campaign highlighting the role universities are playing in the fight against COVID-19, which launches today on World Health Day (7 April).
The new #WeAreTogether campaign launched by Universities UK (UUK) aims to promote messages of solidarity, support and gratitude at this challenging time.
It is being launched on World Health Day and shares positive stories, directing the public to sources of information on all the ways the higher education sector is contributing. UUK have produced a collection of case studies including some of the work being done here at UEA.
The initial focus on healthcare professionals, students and researchers will broaden to include further strands, including the provision of resources and work to support local communities.
Look out for the campaign being shared on UEA social media channels, share the stories that inspire you and post your own content using #WeAreTogether
