Dr Lindsay Morgan and Jenny Hannah have been appointed into leadership and governance roles within the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).
Jenny, in acknowledgement of her contribution as a clinical educator and academic with particular expertise in programmatic assessment and early career development, has been appointed to the Foundation Pharmacists Assessment Panel (FPAP). This expert advisory panel has direct oversight of the process and outcomes relating to the Post-registration Foundation Pharmacists credentialing events, benchmarking the activity of early career pharmacists. Jenny is the authority on foundation credentialling for England and is shaping this process in real time for pharmacists across the UK.
Lindsay has been appointed to the Education & Standards Committee, who work nationally and internationally to provide strategic and expert advice relating to workforce development and education. They also provide the overarching quality assurance for the RPS’s credentialing and assessment activity, as well as oversight of a number of RPS expert advisory panels, including the FPAP. Lindsay’s work in educational leadership, particularly around the development of the fully prescribing workforce and the integration of professional benchmarking into academic awards has put UEA at the front of a movement that is gathering momentum, in large part thanks to her enthusiasm and determination to overcome politics and boundaries.

UEA’s first graduates from the NQP-IP programme are the only pharmacists in England to gain triple recognition of the PGDip, Independent Prescriber, and RPS Credential, through an integrated programme redefining early career pharmacist training.
