The University of East Anglia (UEA) has climbed higher in the Daily Mail University Guide 2027 rankings.
Building on last year’s performance, UEA has risen to 31st place overall and was also recognised for its research quality – ranking 17th nationally.
The league table assesses universities across 12 performance indicators, covering areas such as student satisfaction, graduate prospects and research excellence.
UEA achieved strong subject results, with Pharmacology and Sport and Exercise Sciences ranked 1st in the UK, while Pharmacy secured 2nd place nationally.
In total, six subjects were ranked among the UK’s top 10: Pharmacology (1st); Sport and Exercise Sciences (1st); Pharmacy (2nd); Sociology (5th); Nursing and Midwifery (10th); and Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences (Natural Sciences) (9th).
