Student Enterprise is here to support students, no matter what stage they’re at, with a variety of funding support.
Whether they are looking to test an idea, launch a venture, or secure growth for a social/commercial enterprise already running, funding could prove the difference in unlocking new opportunities.
Students can apply for funding to help them on their journey, with grants between £500 and £7,500 or investment up to £50,000. For non-European graduates, there is also the Startup Visa, which allows students to start a business in the UK.
Additionally, developing an idea into a fully fledging business is an exciting project and there are a lot of components to running a successful startup. That’s why the one-to-one support sessions and skills workshops Student Enterprise deliver are here to inspire and inform students.
Students can receive guidance from entrepreneurs, industry experts and UEA alumni, who can help encourage ideas and share their knowledge. With interactive workshops, networking events, information sessions on funding and market research, we have some great events which will assist students in their entrepreneurial journey.
We can help students to develop and practice their business skills, build valuable connections and turn their idea into something viable. To find out more about Student Enterprise contact info.enterprise@uea.ac.uk.
