Site Author - Terry Haydn

Terry Haydn is Senior Lecturer in Education at the School of Education and Professional Development at the University of East Anglia. He taught in an inner-city comprehensive school in Manchester for many years, before moving to the Institute of Education, University of London.

He moved to UEA in 1996. His main research interests are in the history curriculum, the use of new technology in history teaching, and the working atmosphere in schools and classrooms.

The main section of this site is primarily designed to be of assistance or interest to history PGCE students and mentors in the UEA Secondary Partnership, but it might be of use or interest to those involved in similar courses elsewhere.
