Obtaining an internship during your degree studies is becoming a strong route into graduate employment. This provides you with real-world experience and enables you to experience a sector of the job market first-hand.

The School is investing in a number of internships for its own students; these are paid placements for second and third year students, up to twelve weeks in length and will give you invaluable experience as part of the development of your own employability.

The university is also investing in an internships programme open to all current students and recent graduates. The School of Economics and the Careers Centre also support students in their own pursuit of internships with advice and guidance on applications and interviews.
