In RAE2008, 90% of research activity in the School of Biological Sciences was classified as internationally leading, excellent or recognised, and the panel recognised globally-leading research across all the school’s research themes.
Our teaching is of the highest quality, (rated ‘Excellent’ in the Teaching Quality Assessment), and we are consistently ranked in the top five for overall student satisfaction amongst mainstream English universities.
