UEA offers a variety of modules across three faculties:

Modules
You will study two or three modules per semester.
You must provide at least nine module options per semester.
We require extra choices in case modules are full or unavailable.
You will submit your module choices once your application has been accepted.
You must be enrolled in a full courseload (120 UCU per year or 60 UCU per semester).
Undergraduate modules come in three levels: Level 4 (first year), Level 5, and Level 6 (final year). Please ensure you are choosing modules at an appropriate level.
You must choose the majority of your module options in one subject area.
Modules at UEA can consist of a one or more of a number of different elements: Lecture; Seminar/Tutorial; Workshop; Orals; Lab work; Studio Time; Field Work.
Classroom contact time is between 2 and 8 hours per module per week. You are expected to do personal study as outlined in the module handbook.
European Credit Transfer and Accumulations System (ECTS): 60 UCU at UEA is equivalent to 30 ECTS.
Transcripts
We send your academic transcript two to three months after the end of assessment. Please consider this timeline if you are graduating soon or applying for a postgraduate programme.
Transcripts are issued electronically. If you require a hard-copy transcript, request this directly with the Study Abroad Office and reconfirm the delivery address in full.
A copy of your transcript is sent to your home university.

Please note the following School-specific module considerations:
Engineering (ENG): Not available as a main school. ENG modules are only available to students studying Engineering at their home university.
Pharmacy (PHA): Not available as main school.
Psychology (PSY): Open to students majoring/minoring in PSY.
Literature, Drama and Creative Writing (LDC): Creative Writing (CW) modules only available to those with prior experience. Due to high demand in the school of Literature, Drama and Creative writing, we ask that you provide at least 3 module choices per semester from another academic school. This could be any school, but you may find similar modules in the other Humanities schools.
History (HIS): Level 6 History modules only available to students majoring in History.
