UEA China Undergraduate High Achiever Award
The UEA China Undergraduate High Achiever Award is for high achieving students who are national of, or domiciled in mainland China and entering an undergraduate degree at UEA.
The award is worth £4,000 and is awarded as a tuition fee discount in the first year of your undergraduate degree.
To apply for this scholarship, you will need to submit a supporting 2 minute video of explaining how your experience makes you a high achieving student!

Application Process
When applying for this scholarship, you must already be in possession of a conditional or unconditional offer for an undergraduate degree course starting at UEA in September 2024. Your offer should state that you are an international fee-paying student.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you are invited to apply for the Scholarship by completing our application form.
Submit a maximum 2-minute video answering the question - Please describe how your experience makes you a High Achiever!
Please note that applications submitted after midnight (UK time) on 30 April 2024 will not be considered.
Terms and Conditions
Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible to apply for a China High Achiever Award under these Terms if you meet all these criteria:
You are an international, Overseas fee status student domiciled in, or national of, Mainland China. If the fee status changes during your course, the scholarship shall be discontinued.
Scholarship applicants must hold either a conditional or unconditional offer for an undergraduate degree course at UEA.
The scholarship offer holder must meet all remaining conditions for entry to the University.
The scholarship is offered for a specified course and will not be transferred to an alternative course.
You must be an independently funded student paying their own tuition fees and not sponsored by a government or non-government organisation.
The panel’s decision is final.
Eligible Programmes
Applicants should hold an offer for a full bachelor’s degree at the time of their scholarship application. Applicants for MBBS Medicine, BSc Physiotherapy, BSc Occupational Therapy and MSc/BSc Speech and Language Therapy are not eligible to apply for these scholarships.
Undergraduate China High Achiever Award Process
If you meet the Eligibility Criteria you are invited to apply to this scholarship prior to the scholarship deadline.
The award shall be made as a tuition fee scholarship by means of a fee discount on your first year of full time study only. No cheque or payment shall be made direct to the student.
