Do you want the chance to gain great business and communication experience? You will meet and work with new people from UEA and network widely in the business sector & heritage.
i-Teams is an internationally recognised programme that brings together groups of post-graduate students to work on projects based around a technology from UEA or one of the other institutes on the Norwich Research Park, or with a local heritage organisation. During the 10-week programme, which runs from January to March each year, the participants receive formal training in team-working, managing intellectual property, talking to business, creating a value proposition and presenting as well as working on their team projects. Mentors enjoy getting to know the teams of researchers who always come up with unexpected ideas and take the projects in directions that were not obvious at the start. Get in touch if you would like to be an i-Teams mentor, if you would be prepared to share your skills and experience with the teams, guiding them in their project research and opening opportunities to enable the participants to make the most of the programme.
