Once you successfully complete your course at UEA you’ll automatically become a member of the alumni association. But in order to benefit, you need to ensure your contact details and preferences are updated – so we can keep in touch with you.
Students who have successfully completed their studies are eligible to join and automatically become part of the alumni association. Please contact the Alumni office if you’re unsure.

Yes! There are several discounts available to alumni of the University, from scholarships and reductions on course fees to discounts on campus.
Sportspark has discounts for alumni across their range of memberships. For more info and to sign up for campus discounts apply for an alumni benefit card.
Graduates are eligible for careers support up to three years after graduating, as well as other benefits, such as registering for internship programmes and careers events. Visit the Careers pages for more information.

The best way to ensure you’re in the loop with the latest events and offers is to keep us informed of your current email address – you can do that my updating your details online.
All UEA public events are advertised online, and you can subscribe to What’s On, which features a range of UEA affiliated events on campus and further afield.
Only current students and staff of UEA can use the University’s IT facilities. Members of the library are able to use IT facilities for limited, library related activities.
UEA Library is open to visitors from 7am-7pm every day. Alumni can sign-in to the Library for free during these hours and make use of our study spaces and books while in the building. There are two other access levels available – you can pay £10 per year for Library Access membership which will provide 24/7 access to the Library, or you can apply for External Membership which costs £50 per year and entitles you to 24/7 access and the ability to borrow books. Check the Visit the Library page for more information. Unfortunately we cannot offer access to our online resources for external members or visitors.
The Alumni office can help you get in touch with former class mates, no matter when you studied at UEA. Due to data protection we are unable to provide contact details but we can pass on messages if we’re able to get in touch. If you’d like to get in touch with a friend or ex-colleague, please email the alumni team.
We can help put you in touch with the right graduates, publicise your event, and, if you want to return to Norwich, we can help with access to venues on campus. Please email us for more information.
