My advice is to be active, whether that’s at the pool, in the park or on the dance floor.

Fuel your body and mind throughout the day at Ziggy’s.
Located on The Street, next to The Shop (SU).
Good atmosphere, reasonable prices and a good selection of products means Ziggy’s is one of my favourite places on campus to grab a drink or a bite to eat with friends. Their croissants are brilliant!
Fresh and delicious food that changes with the seasons.
21 St John Maddermarket, Norwich, NR2 4AF.
My girlfriend and I were very impressed with both the food and service. There’s plenty for vegetarians and vegans. The halloumi and tomato roll was hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had and the smoothie-like fresh orange juice was delicious.
Live music and club nights, designed by students, for students.
139-141 King Street, Norwich, NR1 1QH.
A great atmosphere and very student heavy, so you often bump into someone you know. There’s always plenty going on, from gigs to club nights. Propaganda on Friday nights is one not to be missed!
Get your bounce on with your friends. A fun way to exercise.
Riverside Entertainment, Wherry Road, Norwich, NR1 1WT.
Had one of our best MathSoc socials ever here. You can just jump up and down, get active with bouncing games of dodgeball or brush up on your acrobatics on a giant airbag. The most fun I’ve had in ages.
All the usual high street stores and food chains, under one roof.
40-46 St Stephens Street, Norwich, NR1 3SH.
Chapelfield has a good selection of shops, as does St Stephens Street. Many of them offer student discounts, which helps a lot with budgeting. You’ll find the big brands at the intu Chapelfield shopping centre.
Catch a live show with your mates and enjoy an evening at the theatre.
Theatre Street, Norwich, NR2 1RL.
I’ve been here on a number of occasions, from plays to comedy gigs. Each time I’ve been, I’ve loved it. There’s something for everyone going on at the theatre and it’s guaranteed to be a good outing.
