Travelling by Car - Wednesday Applicant Days

Unfortunately, we do not have any parking available for visitors on campus. However, free parking is available at Costessey Park and Ride. 

(You can find the site off the A47 just west of Norwich in the direction of Swaffham near the Royal Norfolk Showground, with its entrance on Bawburgh Lane, Easton. The postcode to use with SATNAV is NR9 3LX).

On arrival at the Park and Ride, please head to the main bus stop, where you will be greeted by UEA student guides to board the free bus service to take you to campus. 

Please bring a copy of your UEA Applicant Day email to show the driver to ensure you are not charged.

The buses will depart from Costessey Park and Ride at the following times (the journey to campus takes approximately 15 minutes).

If you are not planning to attend optional tours in the morning before your Applicant Day, please aim to get the 11:30 bus to get you to campus in time to check in and be taken to your chosen school of study.

Return Journey from UEA to Costessey Park and Ride

Buses will depart from the Megabus stop on University Drive on campus (you will be directed here at the end of your Applicant Day by our student guides).

Travelling by Car - Saturday Applicant Days

We have free parking available for all visitors in our main car park on campus (p1 on the campus map). The postcode to use with SATNAV is NR4 7TJ.

Please take a plastic token when you enter the car park and keep this with you until you leave. As you leave the car park, place the token in the slot at the at the exit barrier - make sure you do not go to the pay machines because you will be charged. Any lost tokens will be charged at £25.00.

On arrival, you will be greeted by student guides who will direct you to check in at Congregation Hall.

Travelling by Train - Wednesday or Saturday Applicant Days

On arrival at Norwich railway station, take the number 25 or 26 bus from just outside the main station entrance. The buses run every ten minutes and take about half an hour to get to campus.

When you reach UEA, get off at the bus stop opposite the main car park and student guides will greet you and direct you to Applicant Day registration in Congregation Hall.

For your return journey, buses 25 and 26 leave from University Drive for the city centre and railway station every ten minutes.

We offer an Applicant Day discount for visitors:
