Weekday Applicant Days - Travelling by Car
Free parking with a short shuttle bus journey is available at Costessey Park and Ride, NR9 3LX, as parking won't be available on campus unless you are a blue badge holder.
You can find the Park and Ride off the A47 just west of Norwich in the direction of Swaffham near the Royal Norfolk Showground. The entrance is on Bawburgh Lane, Easton.
On arrival at the Park and Ride, please head to the main bus stop, where you will be greeted by UEA student guides.
The first bus from Costessey Park and Ride to UEA leaves at 07:20 and the last bus leaves UEA at 20:10, running up to every 15 minutes. Please visit the Park and Ride timetable for further information.

If you are not planning to attend optional tours in the morning before your Applicant Day, please aim to get the 11:00 bus to get you to campus in time to check in and be taken to your chosen school of study.

Buses will depart from the Megabus stop on University Drive on campus (you will be directed here at the end of your Applicant Day by our student guides).

The buses will continue running until 20:10, returning to Costessey Park and Ride at 20:30.
Saturday Applicant Days - Travelling by Car
We have free parking available for all visitors in our main car park on campus (p1 on the campus map). The postcode to use with SATNAV is NR4 7TJ.
Please take a plastic token when you enter the car park and keep this with you until you leave. As you leave the car park, place the token in the slot at the at the exit barrier - make sure you do not go to the pay machines because you will be charged. Any lost tokens will be charged at £25.00.
On arrival, you will be greeted by student guides who will direct you to your check in location.
Travelling by Bus or Train - All Applicant Days
We are just 3 miles from Norwich city centre. That means a short bus or taxi ride from Norwich rail or coach station.
We've partnered with First Bus to offer you free all-day bus tickets on the city network to explore the city of Norwich for you and your guests on your open day. UEA is on Blue Line 25 and 26, with buses every 7 minutes to the city. Once you have registered you will receive an email with instructions on how to download your free bus ticket.
On arrival at Norwich railway station, take the number 25 or 26 bus from just outside the main station entrance. The buses run every ten minutes and take about half an hour to get to campus.
When you reach UEA, get off at the bus stop opposite the main car park and student guides will direct you to the check in location
For your return journey, buses 25 and 26 leave from University Drive for the city centre and railway station every ten minutes.
