We want you to come to a UEA open day and here are nine reasons why. Reason number one: Career Aspiring! It's not just about getting your degree, it's about discovering a career that you love and that's why UEA will support you through that. This is why they offer loads of work placements, internship opportunities, networking opportunities with professionals so you can get your dream job. Number 2. Home truth coming up: It's all about where you live and the UEA accommodation is a safe, fun, friendly and comfortable place to live and in your first year you're guaranteed a room here. Reason number three: Expert Teaching. as leaders in fields such as climate change, food science, international development and creative writing. A combination of fantastic facilities and great teaching staff allow you to become the brilliant minds of the future. Number four: Our Beautiful Campus is second to none not only are we surrounded by beautiful nature and loads of parkland, I often find myself coming down here to take a break from my studies for a while. Reason number five: Course Inspiring. You can master your subject here and reach your full potential. You have access to a range of teaching formats and even a personal advisor to guide you through your studies. Reason number six Club nights, gig nights, quiz nights and fancy dress. Theatre, dance, movies and festivals, both on campus and in Norwich whatever you're into, there's something for you! Reason number seven: The UEA Sportspark has some of the best facilities in the country with a national standard athletics track and an olympic-sized swimming pool. And five huge sports halls where you can play any sport you you can think of including basketball. Reason number eight: Norwich Life A small city with a huge heart where old meets new. It's where the streets, the architecture, the music the arts and the theatre happen. Coming to university isn't just about studying, it's about meeting new people, having new experiences and making lifelong friends. I know I've made my friends for life here. So what next? Norwich has a brilliant live music scene. We also have our very own excellent on-campus music venue, The Nick Rayns LCR. There are more than sixty gigs a year and regular club nights for you to be a part of. Over the years The Nick Rayns LCR has hosted all kinds of acts from The Who to Ed Sheeran, Coldplay to Skepta, and everything in between.
