Your University Questions, Answered.

What lessons would I do at summer school? Nikola, Cromer

Our Answer:

Excellent question!

Our summer schools are a great way for you to get ahead of the game and experience what university life is all about. Currently, we offer summer school programmes for Year 11 (Law only) and Year 12 from all backgrounds. Take a look here to see what subject areas we have available.

Each summer school is tailored to the specific subject, so depending on which programme you choose you’ll be taking part in a range of interactive sessions covering a wide variety of topics. For example, if you’re interested in engineering you’ll have the opportunity to explore our CAD software, take part in a team design and build challenge and visit industry sites, such as Zenos and KLM.

No matter what subject you choose, our summer schools will give you a taste of what you can expect to learn and the kinds of activity you’ll be involved in at university. And as if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also have the opportunity to talk to current students to get the lowdown on what it’s really like to study your subject of interest at UEA.

For more details, check out the summer schools section of our site where you will be able to download a provisional programme for each event. And don’t forget, we also hold pre-16 and international summer schools too!
