Your University Questions, Answered.

what are the standard term times? Pamela, London

Our Answer:

Our standard academic year is divided up into two semesters (Autumn and Spring).

The Autumn semester begins in the last week of September and runs up to the Christmas break in mid-December. The Spring semester begins in mid-January and incorporates a break at Easter. After Easter the Spring Semester continues before concluding in mid-May. It is followed by an Assessment Period which runs until mid-June, after which your summer break begins. If you’ve reached the end of your course you will have your Graduation ceremony in mid-July.

The standard academic year is ever so slightly different for some of our Norwich Medical School courses and our School of Health Sciences courses as some of them start slightly earlier than the standard semester dates.
