How many weeks long is the Children's Nursing course?
UEA’s School of Health Sciences offers a range of Nursing degrees that open the door for you to a rewarding career after graduating.
To answer your question our BSc Children’s Nursing course is roughly forty-five weeks long each year. Starting at the end of September each year and running roughly until the end of the following August and is a three year course.
Here’s the structure of our BSc Children’s Nursing course:
- Three-year course
- Two modules each year
- Keynote lectures and small group teaching alongside clinical placements
- Variety of assessments such as written assessments, unseen examinations and group presentations
- Teaching hours are allocated between 9am-7pm. When in practice, your hours will reflect typical patterns for nursing staff at your placement and a minimum of 75 hours on night duty is normally required.
