Your University Questions, Answered.

Can I change my mind if I don't like the course when I start? What is the deadline for changing or withdrawing? Alice, Basingstoke

Our Answer:

We understand that the decision to go to university is a big one and that you may change your mind.

Prior to registration in September you can decline your offer with us or withdraw your UCAS application at any time. You can also defer your place for the majority of our courses. Just contact our dedicated Admissions team for advice on admissions@uea.ac.uk or give them a call on +44 (0) 1603 591515. We do not charge an accommodation deposit for university residences.

After registration students who withdraw from UEA within two weeks of the start of their course will not be required to pay fees for that academic year. Those who withdraw after that time will be charged fees on a pro rata basis for the period of their attendance based on ‘cut-off’ dates published by the UEA for the relevant academic year.
