Your University Questions, Answered.

Can I work on campus while I study? Karl, Nottingham

Our Answer:

You sure can, that's one of the advantages of studying at a larger university.

There's a range of small businesses offering student part-time work on campus, these include the student-run shop, a number of cafes, and on-campus bars to name a few. The UEA Students' Union also have a number of different opportunities on offer.

In addition to these, there's plenty of internships for current students available across various departments at UEA, and with external businesses.

The Student Ambassador scheme at UEA offers a wide variety of roles, working with a range of different people and choosing the hours that best fit around your studies.

UEA also hosts a number of fairs throughout the year to advertise jobs available to students and graduates so you can find the right work for you.

One of the main destinations on campus is Career Central - the go to place for careers advice, job opportunities and development tools. Encouraging student enterprise and professional development, UEA students can access resources face-to-face, or online.
