Your University Questions, Answered.

How easy is it to get home? Sarah, London

Our Answer:

This is something lots of people ask before they head off to uni – planning ahead for a mid-term trip home, or the first trip back for the Christmas break.

Norwich has good transport links and you’ll have a range of options when looking to travel back home.

The UEA campus is served by a regular bus service into the city centre and railway station, and is also a pick up/drop off point for National Express services to London and major UK airports.

For those looking to save a few pennies, the campus is also served by Megabus.com. Tickets cost from £1, and destinations include London, Cambridge, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff.

Norwich also has direct rail connections to London, Peterborough, Cambridge, Nottingham, Manchester and Liverpool, meaning you can get around the country easily.

And for those looking to travel to Europe and beyond, Norwich International Airport links the city to destinations in the UK, and to the rest of Europe and the world via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

And there is always the option of the helipad by the lake.......
