Your University Questions, Answered.

I studied BTEC qualifications, when will UEA confirm my place? Do I have to wait for A-level results day? Emily, Newark

Our Answer:

Some qualifications (such as BTEC and IB) are released earlier than A-level results day in mid-August. Whatever the qualification is you’re studying, we’ll be able to look at whether or not we can offer you a place (depending on if you have met the conditions of your offer) as soon as we receive your results. So please send them through as soon as you get them.  If you’ve met your offer, we’ll be able to confirm your place.

If you haven’t quite met your offer, we may still be able to confirm your place if it’s a near miss, or we might ask you to wait until we’ve had all exam results in (so this would mean waiting until the A-level results are out in mid-August) when we can make a decision.

I hope this helps – fingers crossed and good luck!
