Your University Questions, Answered.

I’m thinking about doing an LLB Law with a year in the USA. What happens if I miss my grades and which subjects do you look for? James, Ascot

Our Answer:

Hi James, if you’re looking to do an LLB Law with a year in the US, we have a course that’s perfect for you – LLB Law with American Law.

A Conditional offer of AAA would be the same for all applicants. At results time, if you’ve made us your Firm choice and you didn’t quite meet your offer, we would then need to make a decision on whether or not we can offer you a place.

We review all near-miss cases individually. If you’ve made us your Firm choice, we would look sympathetically at your application and if we still have places available, we might be able to make you an offer, but this cannot be guaranteed.

The LLB Law with American Law is also a very popular course, so it’s pretty unlikely that we would be able to accept you if you don’t make the grades in your offer.

As far as the subjects we’re looking for in among the A-level – there’s nothing specific we ask for.

If you want to know more about the course, it might be worth dropping us an email at admission@uea.ac.uk, or signing up for an Open Day.
