Study abroad this summer and immerse yourself in another environment to gain an academic, cultural and social experience, all within 1 - 4 weeks. Adapt to a different culture, make friends with students from around the world and learn from a different perspective to enrich your studies and enhance your employability.
A short-term programme is a great way to gain an immersive and intensive experience in another country. With many of the summer schools offering an academic, cultural and social programme, this is a great way to learn in another environment, try new cuisines and make friends from around the world. This is one of the best ways to make the most of your summer break to have a valuable and exciting experience abroad.
- Gain confidence both personally, culturally and academically
- Adapt and navigate a new environment
- Learn your subject area from a different perspective
- Make friends from around the world
- Discover new cuisines, languages, destinations and much more
This is an ideal opportunity for any student who wants to gain a taster experience of living and studying in another country. Whether you want to gain independence travelling alone for the first time, practice some language skills, meet students from around the world or develop your academic studies, this is a great opportunity to have a short but enriching experience. With a shorter programme it is easier to budget for the costs and fit in during the academic vacation, around summer employment and other commitments at home. Students will be guided throughout the process by UEA Study Abroad and in partnerships with the host summer school university.
