Baylor University is a private Christian university located in Waco, Texas on a 1,000-acre campus planted on the banks of the Brazos River. As a nationally ranked research institution, Baylor is home to more than 16,000 students blending interdisciplinary research with an international reputation for educational excellence. The beautiful Baylor campus, surrounded by lush green grasses and historic buildings is situated half way between Dallas and Austin with a city population of 124,805. With the campus being a mere 10 minute drive away from downtown Waco students have access to the scores of shops and restaurants located in the city. 

Having been founded in 1849 by the Huaco Indians, the city of Waco is enriched with a broad Texan history and gives students the ideal opportunity to learn more about the of the largest states in the US.
