Situated in San Andres Cholula, Puebla, the Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) is one of Mexico´s most prestigious private universities. The surrounding area of San Andrés is known for being historically indigenous and still contains a larger indigenous population. It is also home to a great number of colonial era churches and traditional Mexican markets. The university is only 8km west of Pueblo city and 122km from Mexico city, both of which are easily in reach by bus or taxi.
