The University of Salamanca is located in Castile y Léon, north-west of Madrid and is the oldest university in Spain. The university is split betwen six campuses throughout the city of Salamanca and counts 16 faculties, as well as two UNESCO World Heritage sites. The university offers Spanish language courses for non-native speakers. Salamanca is a beautiful city full of culture with a stong student atmosphere.
