Ms Claire Arnup
International Programmes Manager
Claire is a Communications graduate who has travelled extensively and volunteered within Australasia and Africa. She worked within the University's International Office for more than two years before joining the International Summer Schools team four years ago.
Claire says "I am thrilled to be able to offer students the opportunity to study abroad and become a student here at UEA. I feel it is important for students to have an academic and social experience when they choose a summer study abroad programme, and feedback has shown that our programme has got the balance just right." Claire's focus is on the admission and enrolment processes for summer school students, and partner liaison.

Miss Maren Albrigtsen
International Programmes Coordinator
Maren came to UEA as an international student in 2013 from Norway. After completing her Master's degree in International Development, she took on an internship with the UEA Careers Service, before joining our team in 2015. Maren says, "Coming to study at UEA is definitely the best decision I've ever made! You get it all here - a world class university with excellent teaching, an international and vibrant campus, as well as the beautiful city of Norwich only a short bus ride away. As a former international student I understand that coming all the way to England can be a bit scary, but I promise you it is definitely worth it! People here are lovely, and we will help you with any questions or problems you may have."

Ms Alex Cole
Assistant Head of International Programmes
Alex has been writing, hosting and delivering residential courses at the University for more than ten years, hosting international groups since 2010. Alex is a Business Management graduate from UEA and takes a key focus on strategy and planning, with partner collaborations and programme content being of particular importance. Alex says: "We've developed some exciting new initiatives for summer 2017 and I'm looking forward to another exciting programme of activities. We have some new modules on offer adding to our diverse range of options, and our social programme activities are looking great! We're proud that our academic classes are all taught by the University's academic staff, and students choosing to study with us will be given every opportunity to experience the culture and heritage of the East of England as part of our inclusive programme with those that currently live and study here. We hope you're looking forward to this summer as much as we are."
