There are a few different places that Biometric Residents Permits (BRP) get delivered to. When you make you application you will say where you want your BRP delivered.
Applying from overseas
If you apply from your home country, you will enter the UK using a visa in your passport (vignette) and will pick up your BRP card when you arrive in Norwich. The collection location is on your confirmation letter from UKVI.
If you used ACL code (Alternative Collection Location) from your CAS in your application, then your BRP will be delivered to the UEA. Our ALC code is 2HE564.
The best way to pick this up is when you register at arrivals at UEA. When you show your passport as part of this process, you can collect your BRP at the same time. Remember to keep all your travel documents safe.
If you don’t travel to Norwich during the arrivals event, then you can pick up your BRP and complete your registration in the Admissions Office. This is room 1.120 in Lawrence Stenhouse Building (LSB). Admissions is signposted from entrances to LSB. If you enter from the walkway, Admissions is up 1 floor, if you enter from Chancellor’s Drive you need to go up 2 floors.
If you said you would pick up your BRP from a post office, you probably chose the Fiveways Post Office, just off Earlham Road. This will be confirmed on your confirmation letter.
