Preparing students for university life Preparing students for university life

Learning through experience can be an invaluable process, and so we run the annual Move On Up event to promote various disciplines available in higher education. Whilst on campus, pupils will also have the opportunity to explore UEA, and talk to current students regarding their studies and career plans.

Move On Up will be held on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 March 2017

Move On Up is an annual event aimed at students from schools in Norfolk who are currently in Year 10. Schools attend on one of two days during which your students will have the opportunity to find out more about higher education through trying out practical, fun academic taster sessions, which showcase the huge range of higher education courses available at institutions in Norfolk.

Several providers bring sessions to the University of East Anglia for Move On Up and in the past we have had subject tasters as varied as 'Instant Couture' to 'Programming Robots' and 'I Wonder What My DNA Looks Like?' and 'Exotic Animals in Captivity'.
