This annual, free, CPD-certified conference is for education professionals working with sixth form students as they apply for and progress to university. It offers the latest information from HE experts, and the opportunity to join our network of teachers and education experts.
COVID-19 Announcement: In line with the Government’s advice, and after careful consideration for your safety and that of our staff, we are going to present this year's conference online.
The event will take place on 4-5 June, and we are delighted to announce that, for the second year running, we will be joined by Norwich University of the Arts (NUA).
Highlights will include breakout sessions on a range of subjects including widening access to medicine, the practical humanities, mathematical modelling of epidemics, working with the Windrush generation, and a conversation with teachers from around the globe about their experience of lockdown.
The main presentations from UEA will take place on 4 June, and will include:
- An update on UCAS and the HE landscape (Clare Marchant, UCAS Chief Executive)
- Future students: 20 must-know things to excite, challenge and terrify you (Jim Tudor, Future Index)
- Digital technology and transitions to Higher Education (Dr Harry Dyer, UEA)
- Things I Wish I'd Known (Panel of UEA Students)
- Q&A session with our expert Admissions panel
NUA will present a programme of sessions on 5 June, which will include tips for teaching creatively in all subject areas, and a character design workshop.
Book your place and we will look forward to welcoming you, from the comfort of your own home.
If you have any questions in the mean-time, please do get in touch and we will do our best to support you.
