“I chose to do nursing at UEA, as it has excellent nursing facilities like the Edith Cavell building and it is located near the Norfolk and Norwich university hospital, which has many opportunities for student nurses to excel in their training. My field of nursing is learning disabilities, and I was aware at the Norfolk and Norwich and James Paget university hospital they have learning disabilities liaison nurses. Coming to UEA has given me the opportunity to work alongside these nurses and improve my field specific skills.” – Bethany Simpson

“Take every opportunity you’re given throughout the three years of your degree, including the option to undertake an elective placement. You make life-long friends that are there to support you throughout the exciting but also testing three years of your degree. Stay motivated, organised and proactive and you’ll have every success in your degree.” – Bethany Lane (below)
