The University of Lucerne is located in Lucerne, Switzerland which is a compact city in central Switzerland that sits amid snow-capped mountains on the north end of Lake Lucerne. 1460 undergraduates and 1258 postgraduate students attend the university, which makes it Switzerland's smallest university, as well as youngest, being founded in 2000. It has three faculties: Theology, Humanities and Social Sciences and Law. The Lucerne School of Law is ranked amongst the top law schools in Switzerland.
