The University of East Anglia is delighted to welcome students from Brazil as part of our participation in the Brazilian Government's prestigious 'Ciencia sem Fonteiras' (Science without Borders) scholarship programme.
Our Faculty of Science is internationally renowned for its pioneering work in climate change, biomedical science, plant sciences and computer graphics and gaming development as well as other disciplines. We work closely with Brazilian programmes and have staff involved in the administration of this scheme.

Entry Requirements for Students from Brazil
Applicants must be undergraduate and postgraduate students with travel and subsistence provided through grants paid directly to the student by the Brazilian Government.
- Students must be studying subjects related to those listed above.
- Participants must remain for at least 12 months at the host institution, including 9 months of study and 3 months on an industrial placement or supervised research project organised by the host university.
- Applicants must be Brazilian Citizens and currently enrolled at a Brazilian University.
- Applicants must normally have successfully completed at least 40% of their degree at the time of their arrival in the UK. This corresponds to 1.5 years of a Brazilian degree and students may be considered for entry onto year 2 of our Bachelor degree programmes with marks of 7/10 or "B" grade average.
