Scholarships for Master's Programmes
The School of Psychology is offering the following scholarships which may be awarded to candidates who apply for our postgraduate courses.
Studentships 1+3 doctoral award; combining an approved research Master's course and a PhD.

The Faculty of Social Sciences at UEA are pleased to announce three Studentships available for the MRes Social Science degree as part of a "1+3" doctoral award (Masters + PhD).
The studentships cover tuition fees (UK/EU rates) and a tax-free maintenance grant (currently £14,553 per year) for a period of 4 years. These awards are available for Sept 2018 registration on a full-time or part-time basis. You can read more about the studentship here.
How to Apply
To be considered for an award, you should submit your application for admission to the MRes Social Science Research Methods degree. You will need to indicate to us that you wish to be considered for funding.
Before you submit, identify a possible supervisor and discuss your proposed topic for the PhD with them. You find the PSY Staff page here.
Studentships are awarded to students on an academic basis taking into consideration relevant disciplinary background and exceptional academic ability. Applications are invited from those who have or expect to achieve a 2.1 degree or higher in a relevant discipline.

MSc Cognitive Neuroscience, MSc Developmental Science, MSc Social Psychology Scholarships 2018
For entry in September 2018, we will be offering 5 scholarships covering tuition fees for Home/EU applicants at the rate of £6,300. These scholarships are also available to International students, who would receive a fees discount of £6,300 off International fees of £15,800. (Please note: There is no maintenance award, these are tuition fees scholarships only). These awards are available for September 2018 registration on a full-time basis only.

The deadline for receipt of complete applications is 17 April 2018 (including all supporting documentation and suitable references).
50% Final Year Undergraduate Continuation Scholarship
Current final year UEA undergraduate students who gain a 1st class degree and progress onto a postgraduate course in September 2017 will receive a 50% fee reduction scholarship. Those who do not gain a 1st class degree will still be eligible for the 10% UEA Alumni Scholarship outlined below. Terms and conditions apply.
UEA Alumni 10% Scholarship
A scholarship of a 10% fee reduction is available to UEA Alumni looking to return for postgraduate study at UEA in September 2017. Terms and conditions apply.
