Thesis Title: Can EU Be New Hegemon of International Civil Aviation?

Research Interests: Regimes Theory, International Civil Aviation, Open Skies Policy, Emission Trading Policy, Passenger Name Record Policy, EU-China relations, EU-Japan Relations, EU-ASEAN relations.

PhD project is to forecast under what circumstances EU can successfully make new international regimes of international civil aviation through promoting Normative Power Europe towards third countries.

I am one of the four UACES Scholars 2017 granted by the University Association of Contemporary European Studies (UACES is the biggest and most famous academic association of European Studies in the world) in London, UK. The title of UACES Scholar is the highest possible academic award for PhD student of European Studies in the world.

Before pursuing PhD in UK, I read Economics at University College Dublin, National University of Ireland in Ireland, I got Master of Public Policy from Korea Development Institute School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea) and Master of Business Administration from University of Macau in Macau.

UEA kindly awarded me Full PhD studentships (covering entire PhD program tuition fee for Non-European Union Citizen and also living expanses), Research Conference Grant, Research Support Grant and Postgraduate Student Association Research Grant.
