Placement Supervisor for Peterborough and Cambridgeshire
Jawad did his Pharmacy Degree at Nottingham University from 2006 – 2010. He spent the first two years of his degree in the Nottingham campus in Malaysia. Jawad then did his pre-registration training at the Royal Free Hospital in London. On qualification, he worked as a Junior Pharmacist at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. He completed his Diploma with Robert Gordon University in 2013 and his Non – Medical Prescribing course with Bradford University in 2014.
The majority of his experience as a Pharmacist has been in Acute Medicine and Oncology. Jawad is currently a member of the Education and Training team at Peterborough City Hospital and he is also the Placement Supervisor for pre-registration trainee pharmacists and tutors across Cambridge and Peterborough. He accepted to undertake this role after positive feedback from other placement supervisors in the East of England colleagues.
Jawad said: “I am looking forward to undertaking the Placement Supervisor role as it continues to develop to meet the needs of the programme, managers, tutors and trainees. Apart from my passion of being a Pharmacist, I am a Manchester United fan and play Cricket, Football, Squash, Tennis and Swimming”.
