What is Employability week? What is Employability week?

Each year, in the autumn semester, Norwich Business School suspends teaching for a week and invites students to build their own timetable from a selection of around 50 different employability focussed events.

A firmly established feature of the school’s calendar, Employability Week typically engages over 1,000 students, with almost 3,000 attendances at events over the week. In addition, we run a number of competitions and prizes, including a simulated, multiple-stage graduate recruitment process (with a cash prize for the winner).

For the companies involved – approximately 70 in total – this is an excellent opportunity to engage with a wide range of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in a variety of different formats. Norwich Business School offers degrees in subject areas including accounting, finance, management, business, marketing, enterprise, brand leadership, human resources, operations, logistics and investment.

We are currently seeking partners to held up deliver our 2019 programme. We develop our programme each year to meet the varied needs and aspirations of our students and to provide a range of insights and experiences. To get a feel for the sessions we run during Employability Week, you can find our 2018 programme here.

We are always interested in new ideas to enhance Employability Week. If you have something you would like to try, or you think would benefit our students, just ask. As well as events, there may also be opportunities to help either run or sponsor associated competitions and prizes.
