I joined Norwich Business School in January 2016 as Doctoral Research Student with full scholarship from Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training. I hold my Bachelor of Banking and Finance with Distinction at Banking Academy, one of the leading universities in Vietnam. I completed my MSc in Banking and Finance with Distinction at University of Leicester, UK in 2011-2012.
Prior to my current study, I worked as full-time lecturer in Banking and Finance at Banking Academy, Vietnam. At the same time, I acted as the President of Youth Union in Banking Faculty, Banking Academy, the official representative agent of all students and young researchers in the Faculty.
I am currently supervised by Professor Raphael Markellos, Dr. Apostolos Kourtis and Dr. Lazaros Symeonidis. My research topic is “Higher moment modelling and financial decision making”. My project aims at modelling financial returns’ higher moment and how it could provide economic values for financial decision making such as risk measurement, portfolio management and asset pricing.
