I hold a BSc (Hons) in International Economics and Finance and an MBA with specialisation in Supply Chain from Athens University of Economics and Business. I have  twelve-year working experience in  Banking sector in a wide range of fields such as in Information Dpt (Quality Assurance), in Operation Dpt /Loan Adm where I had the chance to participate in important projects but also to implement operational changes, and in Branch network positions. Since 2014 I have been employed from NBS as Associate Tutor and Research Associate.

Key Research Interests

My research interests currently lie in the area of aviation safety and quality where I study the interconnection among airline accidents or airline operating performance with economic factors.

Work in Progress:

  • Market risk factors of airline safety.
  • Airline service encounters and Word-of_Mouth. The impact of service characteristics, passenger characteristics and country of origin.
  • Market determinants of airline quality.




Teaching Interests

My teaching experience consists of business in-house induction seminars and the labs for NBS-3F3Y (Financial Modelling). I also have marking experience in the following undergraduate/postgraduate modules: NBS-3A8Y (International Financial Services), NBS-MC60 (Corporate Financial Management), NBS-3F3Y (Financial Modelling) ,NBS-MC6X (Critical Issues in Accounting and Business Finance Research) and NBS-MC8X (Advanced financial and investment management).
