Key Research Interests

Audit; corporate governance; regulation.

Recent research projects have investigated the regulation of the accountancy profession, and the regulation of financial services in the UK and Europe, focussing on the the role of the accountancy and actuarial professions in financial services supervision. Publication of the findings have been in a various academic journals and research monographs.

Recent funding includes:
