Academic Background

I graduated from UEA with a 2:1 degree in Business Information Systems in 1993 and gained a PhD in Computer Science in July 2000; Investigating Stakeholder Evaluation in Rapid Application Development.  My interests were and still are in all human and organisational elements of Information Systems, although when I joined the Norwich Business School, I joined in a non-research capacity, so I have stopped publishing research to concentrate upon teaching.

I have taught in areas as diverse as Files and Cobol, Critical Issues in Supply Chain Management and Organisational Information Systems.  My full list of modules taught is:

-          Systems Analysis and Design

-          Systems Engineering & Systems Engineering Issues

-          Information System Fundamentals

-          Introduction to Information Systems

-          Human Computer Interaction/Human Issues

-          Research Methods

-          Organisational Information Systems (NBS)

-          Integrated Business Decisions (NBS)

-          Information Systems for Management (NBS)

-          Critical Issues in Supply Chain Management (NBS)

-          Introduction to Business (NBS)

-          Introduction to Information Systems & Operations (NBS)

In between leaving the School of Computing Sciences and joining the Norwich Business School, I did an MA in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting), graduating in 2007.
