I joined the University of East Anglia as Lecturer in Entrepreneurship in September 2011 and I am a member of the Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Strategy Group. I have previously completed my postgraduate and doctoral studies at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia. I hold an MSc in Business Management and PhD in Management Research. My doctoral research investigated in empirical detail the linkages between entrepreneurship, dynamic capabilities and small business growth and was fully funded by the Greek State Scholarship Foundation (IKY).
My research and teaching interests revolve around entrepreneurship and enterprise creation, with particular focus on high technology start-ups, born-global firms and early stage entrepreneurship.

Key Research Interests
I am interested in empirical research on entrepreneurship and its broader thematic areas of enterprise creation, small business strategy and growth. If you are considering a PhD in any of these subjects and wish to discuss your research proposal, feel free to email me.
My current research agenda focuses on exploring entrepreneurial strategy making and corporate entrepreneurship in the context of technology oriented start-ups, international small firms and born-global enterprises. In more detail, I am interested in empirically depicting the functional links between entrepreneurship, adaptive and dynamic capabilities, organisational flexibility and small business growth.
