The new admissions team (Dr M. Paz Muñoz-Herranz, Director of Admissions, and Dr Rianne Lord, Deputy) helped by Dr Tom Storr (Co-chair of the student-staff liaison committee) and Miss Rache Smith (Administrative Assistant from the Faculty Professional services, SCI) have started a quarterly magazine introducing the School of Chemistry and showcasing the great research, teaching and outreach activities from the school and the first issue is now available.

In this first issue, you will find a welcome from the Head of the School, articles from some of the School’s directors in different areas, highlights on research grants, PhD successes, undergraduate research or outreach initiatives, and student’s testimonies of studying during lockdown and how working in the lab under the Covid-19 safety rules is going this year.

We hope you enjoy reading it and we look forward to sharing with you more news from our School in the New Year.
