Welcome to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Personal and Professional Development Programme
We are pleased to continue to offer a Personal and Professional Development (PPD) Programme for Faculty of Medicine and Health Science (FMH) postgraduate researchers. We have benefited greatly from the experience of taking the programme through the first four years and from the development of postgraduate research training across the University.
The training opportunities outlined in this directory are designed to enhance personal, professional and career skills of postgraduate researchers and meet the requirements of Research Councils and other funding bodies. To continue to provide what students need it is important that the PPD Programme continues to evolve. So, if you have ideas for further courses or as to how we can improve existing provision please do get in touch.
You are encouraged to make full use of the sessions on offer (not only in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences but the other three faculties too) and to discuss with your supervisory team what your training needs are and how the sessions on offer can help you develop your personal and professional skills.
