The Graduate School Executive (GSE), as a sub group of the Postgraduate Research Executive, meets at least five times a year to discuss a number of issues relating to postgraduate research within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Graduate School.

Chaired by the Faculty Associate Dean (Postgraduate Research), the GSE is made up of members from within the Faculty, Schools and Institutes, as well as from the Postgraduate Research Service, and also includes at least two student representatives.
