This course will cover:
An overview of contraceptive methods available in the UK
An introduction to any new methods and changes to licensing
Revisiting the contraceptive and sexual health consultation
Updates to changes in FSRH/BASHH guidelines
What will I learn?
- Develop the knowledge and skills to undertake a comprehensive contraceptive and sexual health consultation
- Awareness of current guidance (including guideline changes) to support evidence-based provision of contraceptive and sexual health care in non-specialist settings
